IT IS the end of an era at ABC TV as their breakfast weather presenter Vanessa O’Hanlon departs.
She has been the national weather presenter on ABC News Breakfast and ABC News 24 for many years.
O’Hanlon has been revealed as Nine’s new NSW regional news bulletin host which will roll out in Canberra, Wollongong, the Central West and Wagga next year.
On her last day she seemed emotional to be moving on.
“Saying goodbye is never easy ... I’ll supply the Kleenex,” the presenter wrote on social media.
She also posted a photo saying, “It got a little teary after the news tonight saying goodbye to one of the nicest news men around Ian Henderson”.
The post was followed by an sea of responses from her fans.
“All the best Ness. We are going to miss you,” one wrote.
Another said, “Mornings will never be the same @vanessaohanlon — best wishes for your new venture, they’ll love you like we all do”.
Amen to that

She did the early Channel 9 News before the Today show this morning. Behind a desk not showing much.
