Samantha Armytage too ill to host Today Tonight
Seven presenter Sam Armytage was taken to hospital for tests this afternoon after collapsing at the Sydney studios of Today Tonight. Sources told Diary the presenter of Weekend Sunrise had been ill since returning from a trip to the US to cover the Michael Jackson funeral. She may have contracted swine flu, colleagues say. News executives had to rush to find a replacement to host Today Tonight in her absence, as she was filling in for Matt White. Weather presenter Sarah Groen will stand in tonight.
