She's more daring than her mother.

She's not quite as pretty as her mother (age for age basis) so she has to be more daring to get the attention.

It's not "daring" it's dressing for your age - my youngest (20 something) dresses very differently to my wife (50 odd).
I don't think she any more or less attractive than Mel. Different. I've seen I [think] her brother - he's a gangly looking ginge and someone should have warned him about climbing the fugly tree. When he fell out of it...

I'll be honest - it's been years since I've watched Sunrise let alone re-runs but Mel on early days sunrise couldn't have been more than late 20's /early 30's.
Bearing in mind "it was a different time" so the style (and Mel's own personal style) was quite different to today - which again reinforces my point: 50 something Mel dresses differently to 30 something Mel.

Talia doesn't seem to have too many responsibilities (half her luck!), not sure whether she's studying or what she does for a job so as a 20 something doing dressup tiktoks is hardly an aberration. Fair play to her and frankly let's hope she's having fun.

On second thought, there are a couple of pics of Talia on the thread that show she has the chest to really lean into "daring" if that was her thing so I agree with your point there.

I'm definitely team Mel though. I remember when she announced on Sunrise that she was pregnant with Talia - that was when she was early 30s and I rated her pretty highly then. I recall thinking Rozz Switzer of the same era was dirty weekend material and Mel was marriage material.
