This show is crap, has no appeal unless you like Today/Tonight, ACA shock jock style journalism. The only way they could redeem themselves is to have Chris Bath on a couch in a classy get up, showing some leg. Unfortunately there is a couch, but they choose to have them standing 90% of the show.

LOVE Chris Bath. My journo lecturer at uni trold us she doesn't have a journo degree though? Wikipedia says the opposite. It is always annoying to see people get to where they are because of looks, while the rest of the journos are out their slogging away for years and years. Does anyone know if she does actually have a journo degree? And any other newsreaders that don't have experience as reporters?

At the same token, I know some people with a face like a half-eaten pasty who managed to carve a respectable career in their chosen field even though they don't have the mandatory degree. I think it's good that people aren't necessarily always discriminated against just because they never had the opportunity to attend university. Experience, conscientiousness & an enthusiastic & positive attitude are good qualifications in themselves. Having a degree isn't necessarily proof that someone has a better intellectual understanding or higher aptitude for the position. There are obvious exceptions, of course. I would not like to be operated on by a surgeon who did not have the appropriate tuition. In regards to Bathy, I'm pretty sure she does have a degree. The story, as I know it, is that she was working as a waitress or at K-Mart or something & a customer suggested her to venture into journalism which is what lead to her enrolment.
