20b, many thanks for the weekend caps of Kath..... you have certainly captured a variety of nuanced expressions in which she simply oozes class. Kath gave appropriate gravitas to the Russian crisis interviews, demonstrating her loquacious and serious journalistic streak, which complemented some ridiculous fun with other segments in the program. Today she wore minimal makeup, but was back to her gorgeous, intriguing self ..... a deeply complex woman. That outfit with it's eye-catching bodice highlights Kath's lovely figure; she is looking as beautiful as ever. Intelligent and bubbly, Kath was one helluva woman today .... what is there not to love about her!

Kathryn is returning to The Drum tonight (and possibly Friday?), dragooned once again to fill gaps .....she is a real workhorse! Although I suspect that Kath is doing this extra work now, as school holidays start this weekend and she would want to spend this time with her kids.... so I think she could therefore be missing from wb for the next couple of weeks? At least the ABC is keeping Kath in the loop for The Drum, which is heartening for her. She is effervescent and fun on wb, but I know she yearns to be regarded as a more serious journalist, and The Drum provides the perfect vehicle for that ambition. All good things come to those that wait.... just be patient Kath!

20b, much appreciated caps of Kath over the last fortnight.... and cr4, your smorgasbord is a most welcome addition! I got the school holiday exodus wrong.... Fauziah missing and not Kath! Kath had to once again rescue The Drum last Friday night, with Julia Baird pulling out of her scheduled hosting? The worst possible fill-in for Kath.... The Drum finishing at 7pm, then home to sleep and up again very early to prepare for the 7am start on Saturday wb. The ABC asks a lot of her! So it would appear that wb will feature double blondes for the holiday period. I'm not sure whether Lorna and Kath have paired up before ..... Lorna, with her conservative British reserve, looks a little bewildered by Kath's energetic approach to hosting. Kath is a brilliant ad libber .... quick-witted, while seamlessly interspersing news segments without missing a beat, an energy that carries the program and makes it eminently watchable. She's sexy, she's flirty ... she is simply gorgeous. But what is going on with the first finger on her right hand .... for weeks now it is the only finger where the nail has not been painted?? Curiouser and curiouser....
