Thank you 20b.... the change in Kath's circumstances very evident in your well chosen images. And what a hectic week for her! It now appears that Kath will be co-hosting WB for the foreseeable future??? ("We'll see you next week"). For some time Kath didn't appear happy with the various roles that the ABC asks her to perform....sometimes two in one day! I still maintain that she would prefer to host The Drum, but this is being denied to her. She was clearly fed up with it, and decided to take 6 months leave and tweeted so. Has this threat (?) triggered ABC management to offer co-hosting WB as a compromise for not taking leave? This would free-up Mon - Fri if she is feeling jaded.... a change is as good as a holiday! We may never really know for certain, but that seems to be a logical explanation for the reversal of Kath's tweet. Kath playing hardball..... good on her!! Anyway the energy displayed yesterday on WB was certainly maintained today. The change in Kath's body language and demeanour screams "happy woman".... and she was at her lovely, sexy best today.

Thanks 20b. The soft ,feminine mauve top and skirt on Sat, contrasting with the new (?) white slacks and Kath's technicolour dream top on Sun....but disappointingly no caps? With the revelations late last week of job cuts at the ABC, it now becomes clearer why Kath put herself through all that confusing apprehension, culminating in her "taking leave" tweet. I think she was feeling that her position was vulnerable and that she may have been made redundant. Kathryn you are the last person the ABC is going to let go..... your versatility as a presenter makes you too valuable as a moving piece! Still it must have awakened the ghosts of ten years ago with channel 10! I feel sad for her if she feels so vulnerable..... be assured Kath that you are one of the ABC's very best presenters. And Kath has now settled nicely into the WB hosting role..... she has a good rapport with Fauziah (Fauziah Ibrahim, Zygon!), the result of which is an informative and importantly, ENTERTAINING program. They are of similar age, although Kath likes to remind "Auntie Fauz" that she is younger than Fauziah! Kath can be such a stirrer.... she has an aussie larrikin aspect to her which is very endearing! It's great to have Kath's infectious personality rekindled on WB.... something that news reading and The Biz severely restricted.
