Interesting, though that poster says they're male. Though we know just how nasty it can be online to identify as female, some keep it hidden or say the opposite.

Quite a long bow to draw imo. And even taking into account any perceived anonymity, I highly doubt a tax-payer funded employee would go that hardcore at an issue like that online. Plus she seems fairly honest and would probably have said something (still may) if it does happen to be the case (mental health).

I think it's purely a combination of Janet leaving last year, she held considerable power and would've defended the show with her life, the two hosts wanting to do something different, because who hasn't changed jobs in their life?, and the big shake-up at the ABC with how it's being structured, its direction ,+ content it wants to produce. Those factors together would've made it quite easy to say, 'well let's just cancel it'. I think it being stuck on ABC2 hasn't done it any favours, ratings-wise also

If anything Pocket (or some combination of it and the main show) should've been kept (despite it being Nich's show) - it's how news + content, especially for gaming is being done and can be run on a shoestring. I hope they can all be involved in something together in some way again.

I've always felt Ch7 to be a bit of a crapfest. Nothing on there worth watching. I guess she'll end up on some gawd awful lifestyle program, it'll run for a year, then she'll never be heard from again. Seems how these things go.
