Quite the opposite: out of Patties moderately good looks and Bert... he inherited a moon face... But he did leverage dad's fame and industry contacts into an acting career that kept him in Colombian Marching powder in the states for a good few years!

Yeah, Matty was a troubled lad for sure but certainly not without talent of his own. I remember seeing him in the ABC min-series "Changi" about 25 years ago and thinking he had done a fantastic job. He also did ok performing in an Abba covers special a few years later (the same one where Gorgi Quill's dress is forever burned into my memory). Always a shame to see talent flushed (and snorted) away.
