Good stuff 20b. Kath looks a picture of femininity in that lovely lilac blouse which really suits her.... as does the slightly less coiffured hair. I know she wants to look professional, but I personally don't think jackets and voluminous tops suit Kath. They tend to emphasis her well- defined shoulders (not that we ever see them!), which I presume are a legacy of her youth as a swimmer? I prefer her in a blouse/top and skirt or a dress....but, hey, she is the sort of woman who looks great in anything she wears!

20b, you are surpassing yourself with this set! You have got it nailed when you produce high quality images where I can detect three distinct lights reflecting out of Kath's beautiful eyes. She is wearing one of my (and I suspect her) favourite dresses....skin-tight over her arms, revealing no obvious sign of 'bat wing" upper arms. Kathryn , I think you are being hypersensitive if this is the reason we never see you in a sleeveless dress. She has been looking fabulous since resuming this year... I never fail to marvel at the classical proportionality of Kath's gorgeous face (last image!).

It's taken all summer but at last Kath is back on The Drum tonight. I'm not sure what is going on with The Drum this year. It has mostly been an all-male show (John/Dan) for the first six weeks....Ellen very rarely presenting, although she is doing some roving news reporting recently? As predicted a few weeks ago when Kath vacated the Thursday Business time-slot, she was certainly going to be used in some other capacity, The Drum being the obvious choice after her strong presenting towards the end of last year. It will be good to see Kath once again using her considerable conversational skills on The Drum, rather than just asking short, sharp questions as she does on The Business, necessitated by it's truncated format. Presumably she will be on tomorrow as well?

Thanks as always 20b. Kath looking very casual in those tight white jeans.... she's always had a lovely bum, but with her foot halfway out of her shoe for most of the program, I find myself engrossed with the arch in her foot! Kath's persona on The Drum stands in stark contrast to that which she displays on The Business. She clearly loves hosting The Drum....not only a greater variety of topics to discuss, but having multiple people to engage with and a much more conversational focus. Most of the women on the ABC simply remain newsreaders. For those the ABC thinks have potential, they spend some time developing their journalistic experience, either overseas as foreign correspondents or at home as investigative reporters. To my knowledge, Kath has gone down neither of these paths....preferring to work part-time as a mum of twins? She is simply an attractive, highly intelligent and engaging journalist who is a bloody great presenter.

Ha, Ha, you've got a wild imagination gonzo....but way off the mark. Kath and I meeting could only happen in some parallel universe, so unfortunately....in my dreams!
