unusual as....leaves ch7 to go to ch9 then ch7 takes her back...I'm sure there is a lot of younger talent that could step up at ch7 !!

If they had to take anyone back why couldn't it have been Emily Angwin?. Maddern strikes me as someone who has gotten a long way because of her impecible upbringing and social standing. But it is still an improvement on that dreadful incumbent Amor. Christie Cooper left Melbourne 7 then went back, and is now senior, they lost Angwin, Laurel Irving, the new English reporter I forget the name of, and are losing Sarris, but have drafted-in Emma O'Sullivan from 10 and Vincent from 9 a couple of years back.
