FLASHING a smile that's both genuine and engaging, Natalie Gruzlewski is moving on after separating from her surfie husband Luke Egan.
Having swapped the Gold Coast for her new Sydney digs, the Channel Nine glamour girl expressed her excitement at taking up another coveted network post.
From tomorrow, Gruzlewski will bolster the appeal of Nine's news, presenting the weekday (Monday to Thursday) weather bulletin. She will also file lifestyle and entertainment reports for the 6pm bulletin.
"I'm excited about being back in a newsroom; it's where I started out," she said.
"I'm throwing myself into the new role and the work, and focusing on that. I'm also looking forward to exploring a new city, finding some local haunts and meeting new people."
Open in discussing the end of her two-year marriage to Egan, an amiable former pro surfer, Gruzlewski says they simply "grew apart".
"We'd been together 13 years," the 33-year-old said. "We actually decided to go our separate ways amicably several months ago. We remain really good friends and in close contact.
"Moving to Sydney and doing this is a new chapter in my life, and I'm very much looking forward to 2010."
Beyond her news gig, Gruzlewski remains a part of Getaway and is working on the fifth series of The Farmer Wants A Wife.
"It's an amazingly successful show that has produced many great love stories," she says.
"I just got another wedding invite in the mail, actually. [Season two participants] Rob and Jo are getting married."

Yeah, it's been reported to be on the rocks for a few weeks. Wonder what the 'true' story is. I'm always wary of the "distance' factor. Man, he's a surfer, move to Bondi.  How could you give up waking up next to that every morning? Be interesting to see who she hooks up with. My guess? someone involved in, oh I don't know, football?

Just saw Natalie on the Channel 9 weather, will have to pay attention to the forecasts if she's presenting it. She's broken up with her husband, in my dreams I'd be with her. And those yellow bikini pics. Another great find!
