Thanks 20b. Your usual great images of our lovely Kath.....I for one have missed her. I had to look twice to realise what was different about her.....thickened eyebrows!! And it has to be make-up, as Kath could hardly have grown eyebrows in just the three weeks that she has been away. I'm not the one to ever be critical of this beautiful woman, and of course she still looks sensational, but I think I prefer Kath "au natural".... leave the changes to the endless variations she can conjure with her gorgeous hair.

Cheers 20b. Zygon, the desk doesn't matter as Kath is wearing slacks! Very rarely do you see her legs on The Business because of it's format. At least Kath appears to have abandoned her flirtation with Groucho Marx eyebrows......or was she invoking her miniscule amount of Neanderthal DNA (of which we all possess about 2%)!

I can't recall the show but I'm sure she used to sit on the couch and show of her legs (like Kylie), was it ch7 or ch10 mornings or am I dreaming

Zygon mate, you are talking ancient history. It will be 10 years next month when the Ch 10 Breakfast program folded which Kath co-presented, but I think you are recalling Meet The Press (Ch10) which she presented in 2013. There was plenty of sitting on couches in short skirts in this program. Unfortunately this was a poisoned chalice (on it's last legs after decades) which was handed to Kath and it too was terminated. I think Kath was treated appallingly during this period by Ch10, when she was striving to make the transition from newsreader to serious journalist and presenter. 20b has captured intermittently her shapely figure and legs over the last 8 years but never on The Business as the format is almost always behind a desk. Fortunately her time at the ABC has seen her regain her confidence and self esteem. Not only is she now a much more experienced and polished presenter but she is also a more beautiful person in every way.

Kath is really paying for having 3 weeks off! An extra session on The Business and now the Ch 24 News graveyard shift all Saturday night (5.30- 11.30). She really is the ABC's Girl Friday....proficient at plugging holes. She looked and sounded exhausted by the end of it. Poor Kath, no interviews, just reading news over and over every 30 minutes.... she looked forlorn and lonely. The ABC needs to give Kath her own show (THE DRUM!!!) like they seem to do with just about everyone else....she is not just a newsreader. She needs some predictability in her working life. On the upside, it was nice to spend Saturday night with Kath.... albeit in a virtual state!
