Bindi Irwin: ‘There is someone special in my life right now’ BINDI Irwin’s got a boyfriend. The conservationist, who will celebrate her 17th birthday this Friday, opened up to Entertainment Tonight about her new relationship. “There is someone special in my life right now, and I’m really happy with that,” she said. Bindi didn’t reveal who her new man is, but she has been spending a lot of time recently with 18-year-old US wakeboarder, Chandler Powell. Just last week Bindi posted a photo of Chandler on her Instagram page to announce that he ‘s joined her Wildlife Warriors team as a global ambassador. Bindi was just eight years old when Steve Irwin was killed by a stingray, but she told ET that she still remembers his dating advice. “Dad always said you can’t date till you’re 40, and he has to be able to swim across our largest crocodile pond before he can go out with you,” she said http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/celebrity-life/bindi-irwin-there-is-someone-special-in-my-life-right-now/story-fnk825aa-1227451876106

Bindi Irwin Trades Crocks For Dancing Shoes for DWTS!ABC's Dancing With The Stars reveals their first contestant for the 21st season, the Crocodile Hunter's Daughter, Bindi Irwin! Bindi told Good Morning America "This is completely different to anything I've ever done in my life, I'm used to wrangling crocodiles!" Bindi has been in a few movies and had her own series, Bindi The Jungle Girl, but as E! reports, Irwin is ready to try new things, even if that means trading in her khakis. "We always say khaki just isn't a color, it's an attitude; it's a part of who we are. You can't just climb a tree or wrangle a snake in a dress very easily, so this is completely different. For me, Dancing With the Stars has always been something I've admired," E! quotes Irwin. Bindi graced the cover of Sunday Style back in the beginning of August E! shared how she felt about trying new things and living life. "After losing Dad, there was the idea that none of us have forever. It really affects you. It makes you want to live each day as if it's your last." The new season starts September 14, and the rest of the cast has yet to be revealed. We hope she gets paired with someone like Mark Ballas, who will totally help her let out her wild side. http://magic983.com/2015/08/24/bindi-irwin-trades-crocks-dancing-shoes-dwts/

Bindi Irwin "Trying to Get Used to Wearing Heels" Before Dancing With the StarsBindi Irwin can wrangle crocodiles like it's nobody's business, but trying to walk—and eventually dance—in high heels? Crikey, that's some tough stuff! The 17-year-old daughter of the late Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin will be competing in season 21 of Dancing With the Stars, though, and she's not letting any fancy footwear mess up her chances of winning. That's why, actually, Bindi's already practicing getting around in some sophisticated shoes. On Monday, the teenage conservationist Instagrammed a picture of her heeled black booties—and yes, that's a thick, low heel, but it counts. Bindi admitted she was "still trying to get used to wearing heels," adding endearingly, "Girls In Heels right now, reading this- I have major appreciation for you. Love, The Girl Who Mostly Lives In Khaki & Boots x" http://au.eonline.com/news/689703/bindi-irwin-trying-to-get-used-to-wearing-heels-before-dancing-with-the-stars
