I agree, sportsfan. I've uploaded a few caps from this morning as well, including some great ones of Sam and Sarah on the couch (237955 & 237957) just before they interviewed Nacho Figueras. Does anyone else have different favourites?

Wow, she looked great this morning. Was it just me, or did she have a glow about her? Maybe she was able to have a bit of a break
on her trip to NZ?

Other amusing bits (I might work on a short clip next week):
Sam : "I'm sorry, there's so many handsome men on the show today, I've spilt my coffee!"

and

Tony: "Do you like the full arm length tattoos?"
Sam: <silent grin>
Tony: "Yes, she does, she loves them!"

Caps above made me realise the greater bluriness of my recent caps. Might reduce the compression a bit so they're a bit more detailed/less blurry.

Don't think so solz. Around 350kB for a 1080x756 cap is about right and you could compress down to 250kB and still produce decent quality caps. Methinks the problem lies with reception or elsewhere in your settings. Notice you don't de-interlace for one thing which is why you are getting the combing on motion in the cap.

I just saw this bit on Sunrise in passing this morning, and was kinda miffed that my recorder wasn't on at the time (stupid unreliable one at home today).

Andrew made a comment that Sam's dress looked like swirl icecream, to which Sam replied, "I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or not."
Andrew replied, "Well a lot of people think that swirl icecream is yummy, and if you read the emails that come in, a lot of people think the same thing about you!"
