Former lifesaver Hannah Saul, 19, will be jetting off to a life of international fashion after winning the NEXT New York Model Search at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on Wednesday night.

Described by some pundits as the next Miranda Kerr, Hannah will first be travelling to the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week in Sydney from April 27 to May 1.

Hannah's triumph was part of a glamorous night that saw the designers themselves starring on the pre-show red carpet
