Look what just came out, boys!

Star Trek Remastered

I remember seeing something about this a while ago when they were making it & it does sound seriously kick-arse - but ridiculously overpriced. Hopefully it won't take long for the price to come down to a reasonable level. I don't think they'd be able to maintain sales at that price very long anyway...

I'll check this out whenever I get a HD setup?? I don't understand why star treks are so overpriced either, I remember when TNG started out at around $220 per season, I ended up getting them for $50 - $75 when ezydvd/JB/Kmart where all trying to outdo each other

It says HD DVD/DVD so may be okay on an ordinary DVD player. Anyway, I get the impression it'd be better to get a BD player.

The price will drop right down. It has to. It won't have a big enough consumer market here to maintain that price very long...

Hey, have any of you lot seen Star Trek: Gods & Men?

It's a sequel to Star Trek: Generations & has most of the original series cast. It also has a few familiar faces from ST: Voyager (playing different roles of course).

The reviews on IMDb for it were pretty good.

I was directed by Tim Russ (aka: Tuvok in ST: Voyager) & written by the ST:DS9 guys.

I was made in 2007 but I only accidentally found out about it myself when I was Goggling my Yohoo on that Intermernet thingamajig that the kids are always going on about these days.

Someone's uploaded the whole thing (in parts) on YouTube if you want to see it. I haven't seen it myself but certainly plan on doing so.

Here's the YouTube link:

Enjoy! Image
