I've just been watching the latest torrent eps of SG-1 and Atlantis. Let me tell you, I've been an avid follower since the show started 8 years ago. Season 9 of SG-1, I'm sorry to say, has "Jumped the Shark"! The main cast has pretty much left. O'Niell (special guest appearances only), Carter (1 episode to date) and Teal'c (rare occasion for 5 mins). Daniel is really the only one left at all. End of the 8th Season, it's like they wrapped all the storylines up in a few episodes (the end of the Goa'uld, Replicators and O'Niell's romance with Carter). The 9th season hasn't left much to the eye or storyline with the 2 leads from the former Farscape series joining the cast.
I really do hope the writers pull their collective fingers out soon or a lot fans will not be impressed!

Ive bought the Box sets of SG1 up to season 6 atm. Cant afford any more atm. lol

So does anyone know when Atlantis is coming back to the screen?
I've only seen the first series which ends in "The Siege" and am keen to see it back on again.....words cannot adequately desribe how much I HATE reality TV.....
Any info would be good.

Kenny I reckon you should be able to get the 2nd series on DVD soon, maybe about june/july

out of interest (cant say I've ever looked) but does anyone know if you can you hire DVD sets from places like video ezy, or would I have to shell out the big $$$ to see it?
I'll have a look myself over the next few days but I figured someone probably works there.....

I noticed recently that my local Blockbuster is starting to have a largish range of TV series... but they are all low numbered series... like series 1 or 2 or so.... no where near series 9 of stargate.

Thursday night (also with Battlestar G) is now once again assumed its traditional role as sci-fi night (just like it was back in the X-Files, Star Trek & Babylon 5 days)!
