Ari has lived out of home since she was 18. It's an experience that has left her strong and independent. She finds that sometimes men can find this intimidating, but she's hoping to find a the perfect man in the Villa.

Courtney Stubbs
Age: 23
Occupation: Nursing student

When it comes to dating, for Courtney the spark comes quickly or it doesn't come at all. Referring to herself as 'transparent', Courtney can't fake things and will be honest with the other Islanders. Courtney can talk underwater, and is set to bring her vibrant and upbeat personality to the Villa.

Age: 23
The intimidator

Being both bold and beautiful, Jess finds that her personality can at times intimidate others. "I'm quite outgoing and I'm quite strong. I feel like a lot of girls if they don't have that personality trait, they almost hate me for it," she said.

The 23-year-old finds that she's often the brightest spark in the room, and while many might see this as a positive, she admits that "some people don't like that".

Lexy Thornberry
Age: 20
Occupation: Bartender / Student

Lexy was discovered by Love Island Australia scouts while working in a bar in Brisbane and she immediately thought it was a great idea to be on the show. She wants a man who'll tick all her boxes.

While she's excited to make a lot of friends and potentially fall in love, she also won't be "taking any crap" from the other Islanders.

Rachael Evren
Age: 21
Hot geek

A self-proclaimed dork, Rachael isn't what we've come to expect from an Islander. She's passionate about Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel and LEGO, and wants a guy who shares her interests.

"I need someone who's kind of a little dorky like me. I'm not attracted to alpha males. I feel like I clash with them too much," Rachael says.

Tina Provis

Occupation: PR Consultant

Tina has worked in public relations for the past few years. Always the life of the party, she has a big, bubbly personality.

With her last serious relationship being four years ago Tina is ready to get back into the dating game. Being single for a few years means that Tina knows exactly what she wants, and she isn't going to settle for anything less.

A hopeless romantic, Aaron is a smooth talker who know what he wants. He has a unique hairstyle and he believes the girls will love it. Growing up in Perth, Aaron has been very good at sport all of his life playing high-level football, surfing and recently basketball at a high level.

Brimming with confidence, Chris believes he's a nine out of 10 in looks and a 14 out of 10 in personality. Rating himself highly, we have a feeling Chris has expectations that match. Chris wants a girl who is loyal and has old-fashioned values.

Chris spent four years based in Townsville in the Army, and now works as a riot squad officer on the Gold Coast.

At 28 Jordan is the oldest person in the Villa. Jordan wants to be known as someone who takes risks and doesn't always go for what is normal. He loves his tattoos and has been getting them since he was 18 years old. He also has many more female friends then male, so that could be a threat to the other men in the Villa.

Age: 21
Occuption: Personal trainer
From: Sydney, NSW

Ronni is flirty and full of confidence, and he always thought he was going to get on Love Island. Accustomed to going on up to three dates a week, Ronni has no trouble talking to girls. His family come from the Ukraine, but Ronni has spent most of his life growing up in Sydney's Bondi.

Ryan Reid
Age: 25
Occupation: Carpenter
From: Terrigal, NSW

A charismatic alpha male but one with a real soft side. Ryan is on Love Island Australia because he genuinely wants to find the love of his life.

Ryan came to Australia from South Africa with his family when he was a little boy, first living in Perth and later Sydney. He is obsessed with the gym — it's his outlet to relieve stress from his other love, carpentry.

Taku Chimwaza
Age: 24
Rugby player
From: Wollongong, NSW

Taku describes himself as an extreme extrovert and wants to find a girl who gets and enjoys his huge personality. He came to Australia to live with his aunty from Zimbabwe when he was 14 years old and never left.

Taku also has his own YouTube channel where he reviews fragrances.

"I started to collect the fragrances in the first lockdown, and I got about 30 or 40, and someone said you should start your own YouTube channel. I started that now a whole heap of companies sends me their fragrances to review," he said.
