Channel TEN has announced a new locally produced drama series, Offspring. It is said to star many popular Aussie actors/actresses' including two of my favorites: Asher Keddie and Jane Harber. The series has announced a 13 episode run after favorable reviews were given to a telemovie based on the series, also called 'Offspring'. Keddie will star as 30-something Nina Proudman in the contemporary drama which looks at "her fabulously messy family, as they navigate the chaos of modern life". The series is said to be a romantic-comedy that will be set on the streets of Fitzroy in Melbourne. |
