Worst show ever. Im a sci-fi fan, and had to give about 20 mins in. Most unwatchable piece of crap ever ...

It's been shown in Britan? I'll start `wishing' for it tomorrow then.

I didn't think it was too bad
Torchwood
episode 1 is out, and well, ......... um......
OK, it is not at all
General british drama mixed with a bit of american influence
The first episode is a bit heavy (they cover a lot), but 110% better than a certain american launch that was really really bad
You can watch Torchwood without knowing Doctor Who, but the shows are linked - if you have not seen Doctor Who the first ep will seem really weird
Die-Hard Doctor Who fans will probably be disapointed, as it is american in nature (but bloddy good production let me just say), but on the whole will probably last it's 13 episode life and not be renewed
am going to watch ep 2 tonight

I'm still looking forward to it. Never judge a sci-fi series by its pilot. If we always did that, most of the Trek series wouldn't be around...
The pilot movie for B5 was crap too but look what a marvellous series came from it.

It's awful and the second episode is a rip-off of an outer-limit episode (the one with Alyssa Milano, the alien feeding on orgasmic energy, don't make me laugh).
If you want a real good UK sci-fi/supernatural show d/l or buy Garth Marenghi's darkplace. Now *that's* pure genius.
You can also watch the first episode from :
