Another alum of The Family Law show.
Loretta Kung is a Chinese Australian actress who represents the best of East meets West. Born in Hong Kong, she moved to Darwin with her family when she was a child. She has a strong connection with her cultural heritage and is fluent in her native dialect of Cantonese. At an early age she began training in classical ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. Her drive and determination allowed her to perform on stage whilst attaining a Civil Engineering degree in Perth. Loretta’s introduction to acting was an accident. After discovering her true passion she commenced her journey as an actor by studying at “The Actors Workshop” in Brisbane. In 2016, she made her debut on Australian television in the SBS TV Series “The Family Law” in a recurring role as Aunty Daisy. Loretta has been able to demonstrate her versatility with five feature films to her name and have starred in numerous TV commercials. Off the screen, she enjoys practicing martial arts. including close quarter knife combat.
