Have just finished the first season of ' The Pitt. ' First of all, what a bloody awesome show ! And secondly, one of the main cast, the mousey little Indian girl is Australian.
Shabana Azeez is an Australian actress and voice actor. She has starred in many Australian films and TV series, becoming known internationally for her role as medical student Victoria Javadi on the 2025 medical drama The Pitt. Shabana Azeez was born in Australia to Indo-Fijian parents. She was educated at St Aloysius College, an all-girls Catholic school in Adelaide, South Australia, from 2002 until 2014.
Azeez was also in the live comedy duo "The Coconuts" with Leela Varghese, from 2019 to 2024.
She starred in Birdeater, a 2023 Australian psychological thriller, and voiced the main character in Lesbian Space Princess, a 2025 animated absurdist comedy film.
