FROM the most controversial episode of "Playschool" to a guest part in "Packed To The Rafters", some may remember Brenna Harding, the little-known brunette who is said to be the star of Ten's surfie culture series Puberty Blues.
As a child back in 2004, Harding and her two lesbian mums sparked national outrage when they appeared together on Playschool, with government ministers accusing the ABC show of making a political statement and exposing children to same sex marriage.
Having since appeared in three episodes of Rafters, Harding outed herself as being the "leading role" in Puberty Blues on Facebook before the cast was officially revealed.
She is believed to be playing one of the two 13-year-old school girls that form the basis of the story.
In Bruce Beresford's 1981 film adaptation, controversial parts of the novel's plot involving minors having sex and taking part in petty crimes were omitted.
