A new story today with a blue bikini.

She posted on Facebook that she's just come off hosting two back-to-back Meet Yourself in Bali experiences — each powerful and unforgettable in its own way. But I facilitated them both while in deep physical and spiritual pain.

As many of you know, these aren’t retreats in the traditional sense. They’re full-spectrum expansions. I’m with my guests 24/7 — holding space, creating ceremony, making sure everyone’s cared for. It’s my honor and responsibility. This isn’t a job or a business move. It’s a calling that an ancient Egyptian goddess told me to do three years ago. I continue to do what’s indicated, but I’m learning along the way all the time.

And this time, as I sought to give my all to my ladies, my body gave out. I could barely walk. My arms and hands stopped working. The pain was overwhelming — and I had to ask for help for the simplest things, opening a bottle, carrying a bag, doing up a zipper.

Nyoman, a traditional Balinese healer who supported my guests with complementary healing during their time, offered to treat me in a sacred ritual: being buried in volcanic black sand near a sea temple, after a traditional offering and prayers by himself and me were made.

The sand was so powdery and warm and shimmered with rainbow fractal sparkles — like nothing I’ve felt before. I was the only foreigner on this remote local beach, and I was deeply honored. Afterward, I washed in the ocean. It was very powerful . Something lifted. The pain is shifting.

I offer my ladies the opportunity to ‘meet themselves’ when they attend my experiences, beyond the roles they play in the rest of their lives. And in return my ladies help me ‘meet myself.’

These photos of me were taken shortly after, to share the energy of that healing. This experience reminded me: there is strength in surrender, and courage in asking for help. My guests held space for me as I held it for them. I’m beyond grateful.
