Taryn kindly agreed to do an exclusive interview for "AusCelebs" 5th June 2009 that was posted on our original front page Quote: "h2O Ranga Rage Continues ! "
The vicious stereo typing of the flame locked woman, that has unjustifiably
caused many a young man to tremble with fear... was carried out by Charlotte, Brittany Byrnes,
in Series 2 and now continues with "Sophie" played by Taryn Marler, in the upcomming series 3.
We get the facts from Taryn herself ...
8] " Since becoming a Red how has this affected your social life when clubbing &
is the basic reaction to you different ( from none mates ) to when u were a blondeshell ?
T] Hahaha some of my friends pay me out a bit about it, but they're just joking...
Most people love the red, strangely... haha
And I was quite surprised, the red gets almost as much attention as the blonde!
people are always telling me they've got a thing for red-heads hahaa...
Oh and I hope I didn't sound up myself when I said 'gets almost as much attention'...
you know what I mean :)
8] In season 2 of h2O we saw the fans quite nasty to the Charlotte character, should
we prepare to see global fan outrage with your "Sophie Character`s" evilness in series 3 ?
T] Haha yes I think my character is certainly going to upset alot of fans, simply because
I'm such a trouble maker and a meany, but I manipulate and suck up to any male that comes
across my path...
8] Recently we saw on Toasted TV that Seamus was scared to go too close to the h2O set,
while they were doing a location shoot, what was it like on location , were there any
stalker types that amused ?
T] Haha I didn't do too much location stuff, but no, I didn't experience any stalker moments...
8 ] There has been a recent trend to cast Rangas in TV Commercials ..are you being
pursued for spruiking margarine or appliances yet ?
T] Haha no I haven't been asked to do a margarine commercial...
8] Being a christian and having your feet on the ground what do you think of all the
crazy attention seeking behavior that has become a Celeb trend now ?
T] Hmm, I'm not much into the crazy attention seeking behaviour,
but I guess lots of those celebrities are so suffocated wherever they go,
I think that they maybe just feel like doing something crazy or rebellious or
'out there' or whatever you want to call it... and then there's some that just flip out
cause they can't really handle the fame and attention... But umm, I don't know,
they're all just normal people and I love them all the same.
Noone's perfect. Certainly not me :)
8] What is on the cards for Taryn in the near future, that you can tell us + what you
wish 4 ?
T] The near future... I'd like to do a movie soon. But I'm just waiting to see where things go.
God's got everything under control, so I don't need to worry about my next job or what it
will be :)
8] Have you ever added a fake Taryn facebook/myspacer for fun just to see what on earth they
are up to ?
T] Haha no I didn't add the fake Taryn cause I didn't want her stealing my photos and stuff...
8] Do you twitter ? , Rove twittered as to why should Natalie Bassingthwaighte twitter , even though someone
has already grabbed her name & is doing it for her ?
T] Nope I don't twitter... Natalie Bassingthwaighte can twitter if she wants to,
doesn't bother me haha..
