This is definitely AI-generated. There are plenty of giveaways, but one super obvious mistake the AI made is not knowing whether to place the left hand in front of or behind the reflected image of the leg, so it has more or less fused the two body parts together.

Both hands rest against / touch the mirror - it's leaning backwards against the mirror, what you describe as "fused together" is the area of contact between image before, and in mirror.
Also, what is flagged as "AI", on graphics, has little to do with intelligence / learning, it's just graphical processing at higher resolutions than in the past, due to faster hardware and more storage - what was in the past alot work for a single picture / frame of a video, can now be done with less work throughout an entire video.
That's why graphical processors are central to AI.
