Hollywood is also a good way to weed out the ones who want to be famous and the ones who really want to be actors - short answer the ones who really want to act don't go to Hollywood they just work their arses off wherever they can get the roles.

That's why they should stop running those "success stories" on the news/etc every time an ex-soapie lands a bit role in a hollywood movie.

Exactly! I've been acting for years but have no real aspirations to be famous myself. I do it because I enjoy it. It can be long, repetitive & boring & 90% of the time you are doing nothing but wait. But it is rewarding. I've done plays on just about every genre, including about a dozen Shakespeares in various theatre around town. I do wonder how many of the wannabes who flock there have done no real acting, been in a play or even gone to see one. Do they even know being actor/actress really entails or has their only preparation been Blockbuster Video & reading celebrity magazines?

Perhaps what they really want is simply to be famous; see themselves in magazines & on billboards, read about themselves in magazines & gossip columns, have people ask them for autographs, telling Oprah how the paparazzi follow you everywhere, having lunch at the Vines with Brangelina & George Clooney, seeing footage of themselves on TMZ wearing dark sunglasses at airports, etc., etc., etc.

I wonder how many of them, if they were to somehow know that was never to be their future & never be famous, would still have an interest in being an actor/actress...

SkaVeN- That does answer my question about Tammin's career, it does seem logical and makes sense.

Im just dissapointed that she still hasn't made her big break yet . Ive been a fan of Tammin since 2002, when I first saw her on H&A. I think she is a fantastic actress & always wanted to see her make it big.

Im sorry but how did Isabel Lucas get her big break in blockbuster movies? she is a mediocre actress, I do think she is very beautiful & prettier then Tammin but I still don't get how she got into the Hollywood industry with her shy/quiet personality.

It seems like Tammin is working really hard to work alongside A list actors but nothing is happening.

Tammin said that she got out of soaps because she didn't want to be labelled and known just a soap actress. I can understand that but she is 27 now, soon to be 28. Do you think she is running out of time to be famous?

From reading Tammin's Twitter, she is doing a new movie with "very cool actors". Hmm I wonder what movie it is?. She still hasn't had her big break yet. I mean Isabel Lucas, Margot Robbie, Phoebe Tonkin, Nicky Whelan, Bella Heathcote all have lead roles & have already got their big break or are about too. Tammin has been in Hollywood for 6 years and so far, she has done low budget movies, guest roles. She either needs to get a lead role in a good TV show on CW or ABC channel OR get a lead role amongst high profile actors.

It's such a shame because ive been a fan of Tammin since her Home & Away days & I am still a fan. She is a fantastic actress & it's nice to follow their career & see them get famous.
