Sophie Monk's 'mocko' SOPHIE Monk has confirmed her next foray into US TV - a parody of her LA life for MTV - that she likens to Curb Your Enthusiasm.
In Australia last week for a friend's wedding and 2DayFM radio commitments, Monk took time to spruik the untitled series, which was first detailed by media outlets this time last year.
"It'll air next year for sure," Monk offered in her quintessential Queensland tone.
"We take the p*** Australian-style because (the LA lifestyle) is ridiculous really. It's so fickle and silly and I can't wait to show that side, because everyone else plays up the other side, but this will show the real way it is."
Monk said she will "hit the ground running with the series" - a mockumentary with a strong acerbic bent she likens to Curb Your Enthusiasm - upon her return to LA this week, and confirmed director Steve Carr (Daddy Day Care) was at the helm.
