While working on a new version of this website, I test-changed forums' cookie domain to check if the cross-subdomain session sharing is possible in phpbb3. After the verification I quickly switched the settings back, so most of the users should not have any troubles. However, in some cases problems with logging in may appear. In that case, just remove from your browser cookies for this domain (forums.auscelebs.net or auscelebs.net) and everything should be OK.

I thought, and hope, that this may be the best place/thread to ask this question.

Just now I got this messge when I attempted to login:
Quote:
You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to enter the confirm code from the image you see below.

This was my first attempt at logging in for the last three or four days.

Is there an isue here or is there a monthly limit which being only the 12th of the month would also seem rather odd :?:

Some bot could be trying to guess your password by brute-force. I recommend you make sure your password is hard to guess, otherwise they could log in and use your account to post spam, which could get you banned (unwittingly).

You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to enter the confirm code from the image you see below.

I have tried to login to auscelebs on a tablet PC and I get the above message though I've never logged in from that device before. I double checked the username and password and they are the same as the one I'm using to login from my desktop.

The problem is that's there's no image with a code to confirm so I cannot use that to login.

I just tried it from a laptop I have access to and the same login problem as the tablet occurs.

Reset your password to something else from your computer where you can log in from. Then try logging in from the other devices with new password.
