Hi I realise this has been discussed before but is there really no way to preserve the uploaded filenames? dates of caps can be rather useful.......

Without going into great detail (again) about reasons for the way it works, it was accepted on technical grounds that this was the best way forward. The system is working quite well now so there is no good reason to change it.

Yes, the KFC Family Bucket has a lot to answer for.... The sad thing is, all those people in that video actually move better than I do...

Removing of (most of) old posts and resynchronizing of stats in order to get accurate post counts for forums and members and possibly somewhat speed-up the forum and simplify the searching is finally over. Those removed posts were mostly invisible and useless anyways, glad the job's done - took me over three hours 2day to finish it

This post is just to check my post count Well done czblack EDIT: That's not right - my post count is down to 131 - so everything has been deleted from the original board then?

Erm... what's not right? The archive's now completely removed, there's still several individual threads to go, but these are being cleaned up as time allows due to massive time requirements (most of them are finished as well though). I've also got everything backupped just for the case...

I don't mean technically but more in sense of "OMG, where's my post count gone!"
Never mind, I don't mind either way but I'm sure some others will disagree.
