Starting to see more and more .jfif, .jxl and .avif.
Not wanting to start an argument about quality - remembering that for caps specifically it's governed by the cappers card resolution but is there a reason images are being saved as those types?
I could give a shit as most *decent* image viewers will be able to handle most types (I know qvimg and irfanview do so with no need of a codec pack).
Why not webp then as that would work well with chrome browsers.
My personal preference (fwiw) is jpeg and or png.
