Hadn't considered Bec but she could be a good replacement and do both Today and AFL Footy Show (unless I gets the can too) |

Doubt it will be Bec now as announced this morning she is expecting. I am calling it now the winner is DEB KNIGHT  Why  It looks to me like Jayne is the new Weekend host and they are trialling newsreaders, last Weekend Tracy Vo from WA and this weekend looks like Christine Ahern from Victoria is trying it out.

It depends, if they keep Stefanodick on, then they'l play a steady as she goes approach - Bec Maddern could be redeployed, since they seem to really like to overcompensate on the "equality" stuff. And they'll try to sell her as "Footy Show sensation", even though I reckon she's made a bad show even worse. I don't think they'll poach from another network, Emma Freedman would be good, but might not fit "the look", given she's so short. Harder to pick than a natural chest at a Miss Universe contest.
