I was watching The Pirate Planet (again) last night - it's one of the Key to Time stories. For some reason I chose to watch it with the commentary running. It's amazing the amount of "Who"trivia you pick up! I'm now watching all my Doctor Who DVDs again - commentary on.

The Pirate Planet on DVD? Where did you get that???

I always watch them with both the audio commentary & information text on! :D :D :D

Classic episodes of Doctor Who, on the other hand, don't seem to be coming as thick and fast. Although Doctor Who - Robot, the first Tom Baker episode, is due out July 4 and Doctor Who - Timelash is slated for August, there are a number of other titles we have no word on yet. Namely the Key to Time boxset (Tom Baker); Time-Flight/Arc of Infinity twin-pack (Peter Davison) and The Time Warrior (Pertwee) are presently without a release date in Australia. No doubt, these wil surface within a few months of the August and September release dates in the UK.

Ahhhhh ... Region 1 ...my blue  - I must've acquired it from either ebaY, the States or UK. Sorry for the confusion SKaVeN. I ordinarily get my Who DVDs from JB.

This is what you should be looking for...

Key to time was available in R4 I remember seeing them @ Galaxy Bookshop in Sydney, they didn't have the normal covers though and weren't boxed together

There's a little offbeat video / DVD shop in Elizabeth St. Melbourne that imports obscure titles (they charge like wounded bulls for their merchandise too). A large number of DVD titles in the shop are R1 & R2 - but because it's on the shelves here in Oz, one gets the initial impression it has to be R4. That is until you read the hand written notes on orange cardboard stuck to the shelves stating "foreign format" etc.

Where I'm going with this is - maybe that Galaxy shop crash mentioned is similarly stocked. Just a thought.
