"Adric, I give you a privileged insight into the mystery of time, yes?"
"Yes..."
"Open your mind to adventures beyond imagining, yes?"
"Yes..."
"And you criticize my logic!"

Hello, I'm the Doctor.
Who are you?
I just told you, I'm the Doctor.
I mean, how did you get in here?!
Hmm? Through the door.

I remember a time when this was the more popular of the two Who threads...
Anyway, I can't think of anything new to say here except that I should be getting the "Inferno" DVD this week!

Whomeisters - I watched the supplementary material accompanying "Genesis of the Daleks" for the first time the other night, despite having the DVD for some time now. It gives an intriguing insight into the actor Michael Wisher (the original Davros) and the techniques he used to familiarise himself with the "Davros" mask & accoutrements whilst on set.
If you haven't already done so, I urge you Who-fans to watch the "other bits" on the DVD.
Incidentally, I've bought a lot (30 +) of retro sci-fi DVDs from DVD Planet. They have an extensive range, they're reasonable priced and their DVDs generally arrive (from the U.S.) within a week. So where do you get your DVDs from?

Preferably with a brown paper bag over your head, eh? drakegoodman wrote: Incidentally, I've bought a lot (30 +) of retro sci-fi DVDs from DVD Planet. I'd much rather get the DVD box-sets of the "Mystery Science Theater 3000" presentations of all those old films. The all have a zero regional code so can be played on any player too. MST3K is one US show that would've worked really well here & deserved to be shown! I've downloaded quite a lot of them through KazaaLite & burnt them onto DVD so am not totally deprived.

Yep. I was/am a big fan of Dr Number 3.
I was in my local Kmart this morning and I saw the new collectible figurines. Pretty cool. 8 figurines (2x4) for $50. Might just be worth it.

Yeah, I've got all the DVDs, the four tie pins, the "Bessie" car that was in the DVD box-set, & the dalek tin from when I used to collect the VHS cassettes.
What's the deal with that Dr Who Magazine Aunty keeps plugging? Is this a new magazine line, the reinvention of an existing line, or just the next edition of the existing line?
