That's interesting?
with mine, I can record any channel (including ABC & ABC 2), burn the native mpg files to disc and they work in 2 DVD players and 4 dvd Burner/dvd-rom drives tested so far).
I wonder if any of the crew @ Overclockers Oz and or TV-cards.com might have an answer?

nah , you could convert 25 fps to 60 fps and have more frames .
fusion HD and power DVD ain't giving you 25 fps .
used to get better frame rate 29 fps with the old analogue cap cards .

used to get better frame rate 29 fps with the old analogue cap cards . That makes no sense to me Reb. Footage is shot at 25fps for PAL and 30fps for NTSC. It is broadcast at 25fps so increasing fps is not going to do anything but copy existing frames to pad out the number or play existing footage faster, but it won't do smick for quality or making better jerk free slow-mo. Playing higher frame rates only works if the footage is shot at higher frame rates and broadcast at that rate. Super slow-mo on TV is shot at 100s of fps but only played back at 25fps. If I'm wrong on this someone might put me right.

The real difference between my old FlyTV Lifeview anolog card V the Fusion is the ability to grab several frames per click ..key frames that are beautifully blended .. digital only changes what has moved .. the last few drivers - updates have made the fusion very clunky ( looks sh#thouse ). i will post later some comparisons ,when i find my 2004-05 stuff & post this off topic stuff into the puter forum.

The 60fps is a number I plucked out of the air . but if you watch the studio guys go thru footage , they seem to have better frames . Where's hoppy or more so what's Hoppy using these days . Personally I've found the digital equipment disappointing , plus the lack of a HD signal .

Quote: exactly , so if you have more frames , you get rid of the blur . But where do those more frames come from Reb? What you are seeing on the TV and what was shot in the studio or film set is shot at 25fps so that's all there is, 25 frames in each second. You upping the frame rate on something that was originally 25fps just squashes the next second's or more frames into the second or it creates intermediate frames through interpolation. This is an artificial digital construct and not what originally appeared. So I still don't see how you upping footage created at 25fps to 60fps de-blurs it. Again I could have this wrong.
