And the winner is
1. Stephanie Bendixsen - Hex
These came equal 2nd 2. Demi Harman 2. Kylie Gillies 2. Samara Weaving
And honorable mention for 3 equal place goes to 3. Rhiannon Fish 3. Samantha Armytage
I think a lot of us are surprised (pleasantly for the most part) about Hex winning. I'm not a huge fan but judging by the commentary in Samantha Armytage thread, I expected her to score better. I also expect that Samara and Rhiannon will not score as well next year as they have both left Home & Away.

I too am surprised Sam didn't do better. Maybe the Sam-Lovers were too busy drooling over her and forgot to vote!

If so should we take nominations early and have them voted on so the final list to vote on the winner will be more representative of what youse want rather than thread /site thread hits popularity based??

I was going to launch another poll in December. But surely 50 most discussed and uploaded celebrities on this forum should be enough to cover 99% of people's choices? I don't fancy a poll just to decide whom to put into another poll, and still leave some people unhappy about choices given. If someone's preferred celebrity is not in that list, then work harder to get them in the top 50.

Great thinking wolverine, i was putting it out there as whatever system used will always have some folks miss out, more relevant in light of the aged population is that many are old faves & not active with new stuff so while i might put that celeb into the archived & fond memories spot, many here seem to be a bit clingy

Suggest maybe a few categories, just to "share the love" a little:
TV Actress eg. Demi Harman Film Actress eg. Margot Robbie (as this is what she was best known for in 2014) Newsreaders, Reporters & Current Affairs (eg. Amanda Hart, Sylvia Jeffreys etc.) TV Presenters & Hosts (eg. Sonia Kruger, Sam Armytage, Kylie Gillies) Sports (eg. Michelle Jenneke, Sally Fitzgibbons etc.) Models (eg. Lara Bingle, Renae Ayris etc.) Music Artists (eg. Delta etc.)
Maybe just the top 20 by posts or so of each category Perhaps from the "winners" of these categories, a secondary poll of the overall 2014 "winner". Kind of like the Logies, but without the cocaine.
Or maybe Brownlow Medal style voting, give a 3-2-1 in each category.
