Now that's a very sensible response there, young Matthew.
Okay, who are you & what have you done with the real Frangutang?

I think we need only go as far as the Aussie Dining thread to get a taste of Frangers political credentials , He's a man that enjoys his food and drink [really enjoys his drink] and loves variety. He is multi-cultural in his tastes while still supporting Aussie products. Also he has shown himself as a conservationist with his stand against feral animals [particularly red headed ones from QLD].
So lets get behind him and show our support

Well, its comforting to know I have several votes.
Unfortunately all outside of my electorate.
But cheers for the thumbs up.
I'd consider a career in politics if only for the fact I'm a twisted, manipulative, greedy, slightly deranged, duplicitous, morally bankrupt, selfish, two-faced, slimey bastard.
O no wait, that qualifies me for a career in politics.

So you've been a member of CFMEU then?
The MUA used to be like that, not so much anymore.
The ETU is still pretty much that way.
The SDA is the pissweakest union in the country despite strong numbers.
Unions are slowly but surely slipping away sadly.
I've never been a member of the labour party, therefore I don't qualify for mafioso style "promotion".

If I may correct you on one small point and at the risk of getting SKAVEN started We the unions and the labor party always got as good as we gave to the libs and their supporters, they had their moments! It has been toned down a hell of a lot but it is remembered fondly by the oldies on both sides and will come back I think.
Politics is dirtier than it used to be.

For what it's worth, I agree with you. I used to be more of an ALP supporter when I was younger but not when I got older. No because I went over to the dark side (Liberal) I just came to realise that one sides just as bad as the other - both under different banners but in the same grey suits.
Anyway Z2, getting back into the spirit of this strand. Let's all take time to remember that the spirit of this strand is not to have a serious discussion. It's only here for us to all to experience the joy & rapture of publicly harassing & ridiculing Frannybags Fruit Hat Head.
