I have always been a Heal fan but what about Maher?? He has been playing well. 4th quarter chokers boo hiss :x

Yeah Maher has been shooting well. Not creating much but is draining them but BG refuses to play him at crucial moments. Rillie can't even get on court even though he is one of the best 3 pt shooters in the country. :x

Yeah come on the Opals. At least they can showcase Australian basketball.

Heal has too much of the ball...and Maher should have been the go to man for the 3 ...drive and dish shane ...not drive yourself into trouble ...

Well all you Heal haters will be happy. He announced his retirement after belting the Tall Blacks for 30. I used to play against Heal in the metro comp here in Brisbane. He was always a good guy and I for one, wish him luck in the future.

I used to love Heal. I just think he has gone downhill & made stupid options. He was one of the best competitors & aussie players I have seen

He had announced his retirement from the Boomers about a year or so ago hen decided to come back for one last hurrah and screwed it up big time for them.

I wish his 3 point shooting consistency for the games was the same as today. He was 9 of 10 before he missed the last four! I'll be up at 5am for the opals
