Why do some of you have to compare different codes against each other?????

Settle, petal! Don't be getting your knickers in a knot.

Just because people mentioned other ball codes it doesn't mean they were comparing them. Not from what I could see anyway.

Perhaps you better open your eyes, you can see better that way

My eyes are open. Plenty of people mentioned other ball codes, even pce229073 did himself in his first post, but no one started making any comparisons between the physical/sporting nature of the different ball codes.

SKaVeN you were the only one that was derogatory (thugby) and your smart arse jibes like petal etc in response to me is childish
For a moderator you have a lot of growing up to do.
If you dont like the game start another thread on it, I won't be joining in on it
Thanks for the support aka Aussie

Oh, pish posh & hop off your high horse, darling!

A sense of humour isn't a rule on this site but I think you'll enjoy your time here & the interaction with others a little more if you allowed yourself to have one. I promise it won't hurt.

Is somebody saying the word "thugby" really that upsetting to you? I mean honestly? Are you rugby fans really that sensitive? Surely not!

I like the AFL but I don't get upset when people call it "footbrawl" or when aka Aussie calls it the "AFagL".

I don't think even golfers get upset when people say "Golf is a good walk spoiled".

I've even had a few people tell me to "settle petal" a few times on forums before & it never upset me. It's all good natured.

On topic please.

I think it is ludicrous that the Storm think they are going to get their premierships back on legal action.

They cheated fair and square. Whether or not the players did not know and shouldnt be punished, the players signed 2 contracts, the official and the 'other' one for the more money. So they are as guilty as the admin.

totally agree with you, they were bought premierships, sorry they were illegally bought premierships.
the storm have always been regarded as the 4th Qld side because so many of the players are in the Qld state of Origin side.
that shows how elite the playing roster was. takes plenty of coin to get that together.
it's going on else where in the other clubs but maybe not so drastic. feel sorry for the supporters who pay their money in jerseys and tickets etc.
Fans support a club not players as such. lets hope they survive for the fans sake but it looks bad from my view.
GET OUT THERE AN WATCH THEM TOMORROW STORM FANS

For the record, I hope the NRL does not include the Central Coast Bears, how many more NSW teams do we need? If they're going to introduce another team from NSW or Qld it should be a Qld team IMO, but I would prefer them to try another state anyway.. This is supposed to be the NATIONAL rugby league after all.
