Well I am 95% ovedr the chest infection.

Back onto the treadmill every 2nd night. Every other night depending on the back I am doing weights on my home gym.

I feel a bit stronger on the treadmill.

Not as hungry during the day. Eating 85% healthy.

No weight loss yet though

I guess my metabolism has to start working properly to start losing the kgs.

Stick to it, dj. They say that cardio is best for weight loss. Plus doing the weights is probably adding muscle, so you may not see any weight loss for a while. I've given up on the weight loss while doing the program I'm on, simply because I'm feeling stronger and fitter than I have for years.

Glad to hear the chest infection is nearly gone - they can take ages to shrug.

Still on the treadmill 4 nights a week. Have given the weights the flick for the time being. I feel stronger on the treadmill. Going about 15 minutes now at a constant decent speed.
Doing sit up/crunches 3 nights a week.

Diet is going ok. Still eating snacks here and there.

Still no weight loss though :?

Currently sitting on 108kgs so I guess you can say it is a loss of about a kg.

I feel fitter though.

Eating alot less as I am feeling not as hungry.

Good luck with it all, I've been going through the whole weight loss thing. I've put on about 30kgs since I moved out of home a few years ago. It was a combination of things, having money, couldn't be bothered cooking, missed my family, nobody to look after me etc...

Got married a year ago and my wife and I have just been too busy to look after ourselves, but earlier this year we finally started eating better and trying to improve ourselves. We've also joined the gym and have tried when we can to get there. Unfortunately, now I've got time to go more often, but we've got no money so we've had to let our membership lapse while we work out what to do next. I gave up on the weights reasonably early on to focus on the cardio and have improved heaps with my fitness and in the last couple of weeks I've just started losing weight.
Gone down from 105 (I'm 5'11") to 100kg, ideal weight will be around 80, I don't want to go back down to 60 at all, that was too skinny.

Anyway, my treadmill stats now: usually do 20 mins at about 7km/h, up from around 5km/h.
Cross-trainer, have to keep it between 100-140 strokes per min, used to struggle around the 100 mark, now I get 140 easily and can hold it for 20 mins.
The rowing machine, I used to get about 1km in 10 mins, now I go about 2.5km in 10 minutes. I walk a lot more places and feel a lot happier too so come summer I'll have lost the spare tyre and as they say, happy wife, happy life. It also means my mum and sister stop making comments all the time too.

How come the weight just not want to come off?

I am continuing with this fitness regime. I am running 20 minutes now and going really well. Looking at increasing it. Eating hell better.

Yet the scales just do not want to move.

Hmmm.... :?
