FORMER child star Nikki Webster is all grown up - and engaged to be married.

She shot to fame at the 2000 Sydney Olympics at just 13.

She will marry Matthew McMah, 31, who she met on Australia Day last year.

"I can't wait for the rest of our lives together," she tells Woman's Day.

Following her shot to fame she put on weight, lost the weight, posed for Zoo Weekly,  put out single Strawberry Kisses  and performed on Dancing With The Stars.  The couple fell in love "over rounds of putt-putt golf, cooking and movie dates".

Matt proposed in Fiji. He says he didn't know of Nikki's career when he met her - he was in Europe during the Olympics.

SYDNEY Games sweetheart Nikki Webster, 23, will walk down the aisle next year after her boyfriend popped the question.

She has told Woman's Day that partner Matthew McMah, 31, proposed in Fiji after a romantic meal. But their magic moment was almost spoiled because it was too dark for the Strawberry Kisses singer to see the ring.

Then a fierce tropical rainstorm forced them to run for cover.

"Over the noise Matt was yelling, 'You have got to answer me.' I said, 'Yes' and we started running," Webster said.

McMah met Webster on a blind date on Australia Day last year.
