She appears to be filling in her days writing print media pieces criticizing the Matildas for their on ground performances and more generally stirring the pot by going against the national grain. I'm not sure that's helpful or necessary at this particular juncture, but I guess controversy & conflict sells, and she's got herself to sell as a sports journalist, so that's what she's selling.
