Completely disagree! Emma has a gorgeous face and a stunning figure. There is nothing remotely ugly about her and to top off all of that, she also seems like a really kind and sweet girl. Some models really do have it all!

Some Emma pictures.

She used to post quite a bit at the old site. Wonder if she'll return?

Does Emma still post on her MySpace ? may be a faster response as we have not seen her at AusC#02

I still speak to Em occasionally. She seems to be going really well & is happy.
It sucks how she was treated on the old site, a very lovely girl

I fondly remember days when models used to frequent their threads and contribute images on this forum. It would be nice if some of them came back, we (me at least) would ensure that all that nonsense that went on before does not happen again.

It would be nice. A lot of models contacted me saying they were scared off by CJ not allowing nasty comments to be edited by us mods etc. It's hard to find that balance. It would be nice to get back there one day...

I agree. There does have to be a balance. It was never the twain between cj & myself & there's no love lost there but, not intentionally throwing a spanner in the works, I did actually understand her stand where some of the models were concerned.

It wasn't just some of the members who were the root of the problem. If some of the models accepted a bit of criticism every now & again instead of arguing with the members, telling the mods to remove what they said &, if they didn't do what they say, threaten to leave the site & say they want their images removed. Not very professional - especially if they've chosen a career where they are to be scrutinised by the public & depend on public approval. What made it even more so was when a number of them, a few weeks after a dramatic departure, would come back because they've entered their name of some Internet poll.

You can't upload a photo shoot of yourself in some publication like Zoo magazine where female models are deliberately degraded as sex-mad bimbos with some rather choice descriptions of their body parts or fictionalised passages of their sexual practices & then complain to the admins or owners of the site just because a members said "nice tits" in a post. I remember that occurrence being quite frequent. The offending posts were deleted by the mod (as demanded by the model) & the members could not understand how what they said was any worse than what was said in the photo-spread. And they were never given an explanation because there isn't one that could be deemed as being fair & justified.

But the thing that I thought was wrong, Nat, is the living of the lie. Some of them would insist that their being here was in result of some act of benevolence & charity. Some even said as much. We know that's garbage. They're not here to save people's lives or donate to charity, they're here to promote themselves & their career. AC offered them free web hosting at a site with tens of thousands of members (many of whom were photographers, publicists, etc. in the industry) who could give their careers a boost. They were here for the exposure. And there's nothing wrong with that. But if some of them were more honest about it instead of trying to patronisingly convince our members (& themselves) that their being here was no benefit to themselves & they were acting purely out of the goodness of their hearts, maybe some of the members would feel like their intelligence was being less insulted...?

Anyway, hopefully a few people see that last post before cz moves it into the mods' section & creates another poll or discussion so all the other mods & admins can form another anti-Skavo lynch squad. :P

I firmly believe that if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it.

But then I think saying "nice tits" is a very nice thing to say. Maybe it's just me :P

I don't think it's a nice thing to say either & it's certainly not a sentiment I'd use IRL or the 'net. But someone saying "nice tits" after a model showed them a pictorial of herself & another girl where they're described as a "Hot Tawdry Tart & Her Sexy Bisexual Girlfriend" doesn't seem that much further out of context or any more offensive if you ask me...

The only real difference between what the member saying "nice tits" & the derogatory commenting made by the magazine publication, I can see, is that the member didn't pay money for the privilege...

I think mods believing that they genuinely feel offended are just allowing themselves to be beguiled & manipulated...
