 Stargate: SG-1

Well, I thought it was pretty cool last night with the "Stargate: SG-1" "Stargate: Atlantis" crossover with both casts. It was also a taste of what could've been if Stargate didn't get axed after season 10.

Stargate season 10 was the end of the "Ori" story arc & season 11 was going to be concentrating on the "Ancients" & using both shows to tell both parts of the story (ie: Atlantis to investigate where the Ancients came from & Stargate to figure out where they've gone).

Oh, what could have been... :?

we really need something other than "ratings" to allow decent programmes to air on tv !

Putting it on after the crap with the Poo is just ridiculous! I mean, how can they seriously expect shows to generate an audience when they put it on at midnight?!!

I'm not happy with the way they cut bits out of last nights episode.

Two particular bits were missing:

SPOILERS! (Highlight to read)
Quote:

1. When Vala takes out the two robbers (You should have seen the action, not just hear it happening from the next room).

2. The scene at the end when Daniel was trying to convince Vala to put down the gun and return home (Vala said a lot more during this exchange, and the scene was more emotional - with some really good acting from Claudia BTW).

I think there were other bits, but those two bits really stuck out, because they were great scenes. Seven must have cut them just to save a minute or so.

I feel so cheated! :x

Well, that was the last episode ever last night. Bit of a pity really...

After ten years it's like saying good by to an old friend. Bye bye Stargate: SG-1. Image

Poor Teal'c. He gave up 50 years of his life just so he could help his Stargate family. Image

I liked the ending too. I thought it was cute without being shmultzy.

I am SERIOUSLY pissed off right now!!! I missed out on getting the season 10 box-set & it's now no longer available in the shops because they have replaced them with this poxy slimline pack that won't match the rest of my collection.

I've been watching a SECOND HAND box-set for sale on eBay that ends tomorrow morning which is now already over $160 which is over TWICE what it would've cost retail as new! There's no way I'm paying that! That's just ridiculous! Oh boy am I shitty!!!

You have my sympathy SkaVeN, however I have my Season 10 box-set... but what I haven't like is the fact the gate pic on the side of the box doesn't exist on the 9th season and is some stupid version on the 10th... making it very difficult to have them all lined up next to each other looking all perfect! It really grinds my gears!!!!!

I'm contemplating selling all of the box-sets S1-10 and buying the complete box!
