Chik chik boom sure to be a hit

FAME knows no bounds for chk, chk boom girl Clare Werbeloff.

Not only has she become an internet phenomenon for her made-up description of a Kings Cross shooting on Channel Nine, now a racehorse was registered last week under the name Chik Chik Boom.

It is a rising two-year-old and should hit the racetracks this year.

FAME = 9 minutes 55 seconds & counting :yes:

Well, now that a bogan that gets interviewed by the media qualifies to get her own thread, just think of all the other worthy Female TV Stars on channels Eddie & Johanna between 5-7pm who can also have their own threads here (eg: contestants on Deal or No Deal & Millionaire Hot Seat, the teenage mums on Today Tonight & A Current Affair, etc.). By godfrey the sky's the limit...
Add by ate: Ahh but they are not known Internationally-at this point in time - more US peeps know who Clare is yet do not know of Dame Edna nor Kylie :P

 Nicely put

Well, it's a pretty sad indication for the site if we have to resort to using people like her to create new threads on the Female TV Stars forum...

The hillarious part is that her thread was one of the fastest viewed & number of posts "Active Topics" here. She is currently being deportmented ( groomed) by June Dally Watkins & has some heavyweights currently develloping her & the clout of Max Markson to ensure that her remaining ten minutes of fame materialize ... gotta love the small town peeps "tude" here with a premature thread merge and likely hood of having to continue merging as folks start up new threads ( rightly or wrongly) :chuckel:

So people like Walker, crashdown & myself have a "small town peeps tude" for NOT considering this person to be a Female TV Star? How does that work exactly? :?

Is it only enlightened, cultured & sophisticated bit city Sydney-dwellers (such as yourself) who can appreciate what a dynamic discovery of rare & unique talent she truly is... :P

But seriously, has anyone commissioned writing for the "Chik Chik" Boom: The Untold Story" mini-series yet? I'm sure there'll be plenty of ex-Big Brother housemates amply keen to audition to be in the cast...

Chk chk girl Clare Werbeloff approached to stand for political seat

* Asked to run for Brendan Nelson's seat
* Campaign would be funded by Zoo Weekly
* Has accepted role with Channel Nine

"CHK chk boom" girl Clare Werbeloff has been approached for a political career.

Werbeloff, who became an internet sensation after she created a fictional account of a Kings Cross shooting for a TV news crew in April, was asked to stand for the NSW seat of Bradfield.

The seat was vacated by former federal Liberal leader Brendan Nelson, who resigned from politics last month.

A by-election for the seat will be held on December 5.

Werbeloff was asked to stand for the seat last month by lads magazine, Zoo Weekly, who offered to pay for her campaign.

While interested in politics, Werbeloff turned down the unusual magazine offer.

"I was not flattered, but completely surprised," Werbeloff said of the approach.

"To be completely honest I had not thought about it (a political career).

"I do like politics, I find politics very interesting, but I don't think the time is right for me to step into that arena."

It is not the first time Zoo has attempted to stand a candidate in an election.

The magazine had planned to stand former AFL star-turned-porn star Warwick Capper for a Queensland seat earlier this year.

However it got so caught up doing a photo shoot with Capper and some bikini babes that it missed the deadline for his nomination.

Since her "chk chk boom" moment Werbeloff has turned down a number of offers to pose for men's magazines.

But she did accept a job hosting a series called Scammers for Channel 9.

The program, based on a UK format, warns people of some of the scams or confidence tricks doing the rounds and is expected to air next year.

CHK chk boom" girl Clare Werbeloff

Clare's no Chk Chk Prude

DANIEL BOURCHIER

December 8th, 2009

CLARE Werbeloff admits she was the most overdressed person at the annual Hookers Ball at Discovery on Sunday night.

But said it was one occasion where she was happy to be off the mark of what is acceptable.

The celebrated bogan wore a little black dress, not dissimilar to the won trotted out by D-lister Tara Reid two years ago.

"I wore some hooker stockings and a zip up dress and a big fur thing," Werbeloff said.

"I didn't want to go too over-the-top because I didn't know what to expect.

"I was probably the most overdressed person there."

The debaucherous affair drew a crowd of hundreds in outfits that barely covered most.

Werbeloff, infamous for the 'Chk Chk Boom' media account of a Kings Cross shooting earlier this year, was one of the guest hosts for the occasion.

She was joined by Underbelly hot-bod Damian Walshe-Howling - who was even more overdressed in jeans and a vest.

It was Werbeloff's first visit to the Territory and she said she would definitely be back.

"It was incredible, I didn't know what to expect, but holey-moley," she said.

"'What a night. It was amazing, all the lasers and everybody with their shirts off and sweaty bodies - it was beautiful."

Werbeloff was charged with picking the winner of the hotly contested Best Costume competition.

A man swathed in yellow and dressed as Transformer Bumblebee took out the men's best dressed gong, while a saucy jailbird was named hottest chick.

"People went to a lot of effort," she said.

Chk, Chk girl faces Hookers boycott

DANIEL BOURCHIER

December 4th, 2009

CHK CHK BOYCOTT? Clare Werbeloff, flying the flag at the Big Day Out.

CHK CHK Boom girl Clare Werbeloff has denied she is a racist after partygoers threatened to boycott the Hookers Ball because of her appearance.

"Are the promoters of the Hookers Ball for real? Flying up that so called 15-minute celebrity Clare Werbeloff the Chk Chk Boom girl is a disgrace. She is nothing but a racist and me and my mates will not be attending now," one protester said.

But Werbeloff said the boycott threat was outrageous.

"I don't think that's very fair (if) people don't wanna come to an extreme fun night out just because someone they don't like is going to be there, then shame on them," she said. "It is going to ruin their night, not ours.

"Everyone can have their own opinion, I don't think it's fair to say they don't like me, maybe they don't like the interview I did - but me as a person, they don't even know me."

The 19-year-old Werbeloff made international headlines when she made up a graphic account of a Kings Cross shooting in May this year.

See what all the fuss was about in Clare's Chk Chk Boom video *strong language warning*

Tina from Darwin wrote: "I wonder if she were ugly would she have got all this attention?

"Discovery, you have lost me and my friends this Hookers Ball, yes, we are wogs."

Werbeloff said she was not racist in any form.

"It was a complete laugh. The whole interview was a complete joke and I honestly thought Australia would get it," she said.

Werbeloff threw down the gauntlet for costumes to the saucy soiree at Discovery Nightclub this Sunday.

"Make your costume good because I'm judging," she said.

"I expect it to be raunchy from the title of the ball - from the bedroom."

And as for what Werbeloff will be wearing, she has not completely decided yet.

"I'm still deciding - tossing up between Catwoman, Wonder Woman or Mary Poppins," she said.

"I was only joking, I have no idea."

Australia’s chk-chk-boom girl Clare Werbeloff will be one of the stars of the Nine Network’s line-up in 2010.

The 19-year-old who shot to international fame for her inventive — or, rather, invented — eyewitness account of a shooting in Sydney’s King’s Cross in May has been rewarded for scamming Nine’s news team with a role in the reality series The Real Hustle.

The show, which appears to be a cross between A Current Affair and Punk’d! judging by the short teaser screened at Nine's 2010 program launch-cum-Christmas lunch (a travelling roadshow for advertisers and media), will be hosted by Gyton Grantley, who also shot to fame on the back of faux gangsterdom, playing Carl Williams in the first series of Underbelly

In a video posted on YouTube by One Green Bean, the character “Wolfy” is seen putting what appears to be a dead body in his car after finding it on the street. When he opens the boot to check on it, the “Chk Chk Boom” girl Clare Werbeloff pops out.
