I agree Skaven , The three Poms ARE Top Gear!. I don't understand why the Oz versions pick people that don't have a true motoring background .

I don't mind how extensive their motoring background is because it's meant to be a show for motoring enthusiasts rather than experts. The success of TG: UK is more due to the personalities & chemistry of the hosts rather than the level of their expertise about cars. The reason TG: UK is so successful is because a lot of people who aren't even interested in cars enjoy watching the three hosts.

Well Glenn Ridge has had a previous car show on Ch9 and is involved in rallying. Fuck Shane Warne off I say.
Fifth Gear looks like it is going to be axed in the UK so I dont know how many episodes Ch7 have of it.
Ch9 will fuck this show as per normal.

Glen & Karl! Wow! What a dynamic & controversial comedy duo that should make. If you're easily offended it'd be best not to watch this irreverent pair of naughty jolly-jokers when they take the stage! I hope their mums won't be watching or there'll be no rice pudding next time they visit! Imagine the insane boundary-pushing hijinks & tomfoolery they'll get up to; wearing bone coloured jackets & tricking the audience into thinking their ivory, creating a maelstrom of controversy by lying about how many boy scout badges they got when they were twelve, causing a media storm by telling us about the time they left the restaurant without leaving a tip, causing public outrage by really rustling the celebrity guest's feathers by deliberately forgetting to say please, thank you & how much they love their work, treating us to an unforgettably risqué moment of impromptu teasing by making jokes about each other's tie pins or imported Italian leather dress shoes, all topped off with an end of series prank finale, they can mess with the audiences heads in a way they can't quite comprehend by doing the whole show with their hair parted on the other side...

Well, at least the Warnie rumour's been quashed.
However, I wouldn't be surprised if they do do a cardigan-ised TG:AU. If they do they'll probably use the same cast as SBS did but I wouldn't be surprised if they gave the gig to some of the idiots already on the network's retainer list. I mean Karl & Glen's obviously a bit ridiculous but I wouldn't be completely surprised...
