RANGER Stacey Thomson's daughters Bridget and Madison have taken to Gold Coast hit TV series H20: Just Add Water, like, well, water.
Ranger Stacey's little H20 fans Bridget, 8, and Madison, 6, were excited to meet the stars of the award-winning show about mermaids on set at Warner Roadshow Studios in Oxenford this week. They drove from their home in Brisbane to come face-to-face with their icons -- H20 leading ladies Cariba Heine, Phoebe Tonkin and Indiana Evans.
Shy and awe-inspired, the young admirers of the show were lost for words when CoastConfidential asked them what they thought of their heroes.
CC managed to get a timid response from Bridget, who whispered: "They are all really pretty."
Ranger Stacey spoke for both her children when she said they had been avid watchers of the show, which airs on the Disney Channel Australia and Channel 10, for about a year.
"They role play and pretend to be mermaids," the proud mother told CC.
"For the kids to see their idols is rather overwhelming."
As for watching their mum on Channel 10's Totally Wild, Ranger Stacey said her girls preferred to tune into other programs.
"No they don't really watch me on the show (Totally Wild) -- they see me enough at home," she said.
H20: Just Add Water has been nominated for a 2009 Logie Award for Most Outstanding Children's Program. The nomination follows a win at the 2008 Australian Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award for Fave Drama and four AFI nominations.
After filming for the series wraps up in two weeks, the stars Heine, Tonkin and Evans will return home to Sydney.
