This forum board has survived since 2001. It being a purely Aus/NZ board makes it unique as such. You know what you are getting when you get here.

Unfortunately with the demise of the hard copy of celeb magazines to a bare minimum and everything being available online, it results in alot of instagram repostings or the hard working cappers here on this site.

We appreciate your posting Zerohedge and thanks for the suggestion however this has been discussed in one form or another over and over again over the years but we here at Auscelebs like our board but no doubt Wolverine would be open to suggestions to make this board more popular to increase traffic.

Fair enough but a UK only forum I used to post at used to only post UK celebs but opened an international section and the membership tripled and hence the internet traffic increased exponentially and I said in an earlier post on the forum that cappers do a good post but if that is all this forum offers then my original point stands!

Granted it may have 'survived' since since 2001 but the call for donations suggests something else, you need to evolve to adapt if that means change then so be it!

There's a fair bit of history with this site, and current iteration is ad-free so that we are not dictated by advertisers what kind of content we can host. Infact, it was the main reason why site management was changed, domain moved etc. Previously Google cut us off because the site was considered NSFW and most of us didn't appreciate unique content being deleted by an overzealous admin who was mostly concerned with advertising income. But bills have to be paid hence call for donations. While donations don't cover all the hosting costs, they go a long way so no worries, site is not in danger of shutting down any time soon

Most members come here specifically because of the nature of the site (Aussie/NZ celebrities only), and domain name says as much. I personally have a few favourites and I know I can always get my fix here  My preference would be for this to remain as is. However, I am not entirely opposed to a site for international celebrities, I just feel what is already out there is good enough so if we do create something, it would have to be unique in some way, and connected to this site with nothing more than a banner perhaps.

I welcome any ideas about what sort of site we could create, and how it would stand out from other cookie-cutter international celebs sites.
