Since this thread was created, method of uploading images to the site has changed. So here are updated instructions. It is possible to upload multiple files at once.

Same as everything else, though preference is for big animated GIFs to be loaded to one of the approved image hosting sites and linked here.

On another note, uploaded PNG files are converted to JPG automatically to save space and reduce loading time.

Question Re the viewing of images by users...
Are there any stats on the numbers of users who view the 1st image in a set and then watch the slide show of the rest, either auto slideshow or manual, compared to how many users view pics full sized in a new Tab?
I almost always view pics full sized in a new Tab, I very rarely use the slide show thingy.

Also, how many times are ZIPs of complete sets in a post downloaded?

Slideshow usage vs new tab is almost 50/50. There are a lot of people visiting from their mobile devices/tablets and they almost always use the slideshow, hence such high slideshow usage.

Zips don't get used much as they are only available to members who have donated. Few per day at best.

So if it wasn't for mobile devices most people use the new tab view, that's good to know, that resores my faith in people wanting to see a larger better quality image, instead of just flipping through them on a mobile device.
I'm a bit anti mobile devices, I don't even have a smart phone myself.

I didn't realise zips were a reward for donating, I thought it was just for signing up.
I used the site on the weekend after flushing all my browser cookies and data etc, to see what it is like, that signup nag drove me nuts, I dunno how people can stand it! you sure it's not actually driving people away? or do they give in and sign up after enough nags?
