Having a play with this and it looks pretty good. However I'm stuffed if I can get the caps saved in the correct aspect ratio. Tried all sorts. Any ideas ?
Screen view is spot on while playing . Caps are saved at 720x576.

I try anything I come across, always looking for any way to make capping easier/quicker etc,
I've tried GOM too, I always keep going back to VLC...

Thing is , it plays channel 10 that i record on the toppy , VLC won't for some reason nor will it play recordings from 2 . I can't seem to get it to play Strong files either Image . Gom plays em all.

I use a couple of Strong HD STB's too, they record to .TS files, my VLC has no problems with them at all.
And I'm using a 10 year old PC with WIN XP.

GOM cannot do correctaspect ratio, but when you run batch converter faststone can converst & do narly logo in 1 pass, just select advanced uptions>resize & pixels make em 1024 x 402/200 whatever makes a circle a circle, when happy tick your watermark as well & save batch converter file to a name, so that way when batching gom or vlc caps you just imprt the advanced setting file = all good. GOM can burst cap so 1 advantage over VLC for some things. ( i just use vlc as gom is/was horrid on win7
